2011 marked the 10th year anniversary of the Document Security Alliance. Below are just some of the accomplishments and activities that DSA members have contributed to over the past 10 years:

  • The Report to the Nation, an analysis of national secure document vulnerability
  • White Paper on Birth Certificate security and subsequent Executive Update
  • White Paper on “How to Select a Security Feature”
  • Comprehensive Glossary of Document Security Technologies
  • White Paper on the Social Security Card
  • White Paper response to FIPS 201

Trusted Advisor:

  • Consulted with AAMVA on ID card standards
  • Consulted with the Department of Homeland Security on Real ID Rules
  • Provide counsel to numerous government agency requests for information on document security

Training Support:

  • Contributed to AAMVA’s Fraudulent Document Training Initiatives

External Communication:

  • Distribute key DSA thought papers to State and Federal policy makers
  • Host Capitol Hill Days to educate members of Congress and their staffs on document security
  • Conduct one-on-one meetings with Members of Congress and their staff to discuss key document security issues
  • Serve as Keynote speaker at annual Interpol conference
  • Testimony  before U.S. Congress

Member Communication:

  • Host ten years, 3x year, member meetings – hundreds of government and industry presentations on document security
